Gibson is a small town in Natrona county, roughly in the middle of Wyoming Territory. There's no railway going there, but the roads are well kept and frequently traveled, mainly due to Benson-Fuller Mining Company's presence in the town and area.

Outside of the county, Gibson is mostly known for three things:

  • Its Sheriff - Cade, a former Texas Ranger who's one of the most popular and competent lawmen in the territory
  • The silver mines that BFMC operate in the area
  • The uncommonly high number of women in town

The nearest railway station is in Ft Casper, about 40 miles southwest of Gibson, and mail and stage coaches regularly travel that distance twice a week. They've got both a bank, newspaper and a telegraph there, however, so it's not exactly the middle of nowhere.
